Anyako, Volta Region
Anyako is my hometown, located in the coastal savanna zone of the Volta Region, Ghana. The area features coastal strands, salt-tolerant plants, mangrove swamps, and open grasslands. My family owns a vast piece of land here, where we actively manage a 3-year-old Khaya senegalensis plantation, a dam, and a fish pond. This site reflects our commitment to sustainable land management and conservation, and it provides a hands-on environment for me to apply my knowledge of forestry, ecosystem management, and climate resilience.
